About Peeblesshire Trout Angling Association

The Peeblesshire Trout fishing Association controls the Brown Trout and Grayling fishing in the Upper Tweed around Peebles, Innerleithen and Walkerburn. The Peeblesshire TFA permit allows fishing on 23 miles of the River Tweed and five miles of the Lyne Water (a tributary of the Tweed that flows in above Peebles). The Brown Trout fishing season runs from 1st April to 30th September. The Grayling fishing season runs from 1st January to 30th September, although not all of the Associations 28 miles of fishing are open to Grayling fishing in January, February and March.
