Wildlife Crime and Enforcement
POLICE in the Scottish Borders took part in a hare coursing day of action last Saturday.
The activity was carried out across the East area of the Scottish Borders as part of the National Wildlife Crime Prevention and SPARC Rural Crime strategies.
Police officers along with staff from the River Tweed Commission carried out patrols across identified areas previously targeted by people hare coursing.
Positive engagement with farmers and local members of the public took place and was well received.
