The Gamekeepers Welfare Trust visits the Tweed Valley
To mark the Gamekeepers' Welfare Trust’s 30th Anniversary and "Year of the Gamekeeper" in 2022. Chief Executive Helen Benson is travelling through the UK by every means of the historic and modern transport used by keepers.
Helen's visit to the Tweed Valley included a stop off at the Ladykirk Estate to meet Estate Manager Mark Swallow and Sir John Scott, honorary President and Lady Scott Trustee. Duly transferred, Mark rowed Helen down the River Tweed to Norham, where she later enjoyed a mug of Yorkshire tea and lunch at Ladykirk
