About St Boswells, Newtown and Districts Angling Association

The St Boswells, Newtown and Districts AA control the Brown trout and Grayling fishing across several miles of the Middle River Tweed around the village of St Boswells. The Brown Trout fishing season runs from 1st April to 30th September. The winter Grayling fishing season runs from 1st December to 31st January. Like all Angling Associations on the main stem of the River Tweed the St Boswells, Newtown and Districts AA water is home to some very large Brown trout. Permits are available from the Borders Gunroom in St Boswells.
