Management Plan: Timed electro-fishing monitoring – Ettrick & Yarrow fry index (J Hunt); electro-fishing – Ettrick & Yarrow fry index, Lower and Middle Ettrick Trout Burns, Dye and Bothwell Water and Halk Burn obstacle investigation (K Galt); Co-ordination and preparation for the installation of a new fish counter on the Ettrick Water (J Hunt). Work on the 6th Edition, update of the Tweed Fisheries Management Plan (R Campbell); Preparation for the Tweed Foundation annual Technical Review (R Campbell); Catch data analysis (R Campbell).
Consultancy: Electro-fishing on the Eddleston Water as part of the Tweed Forum remeandering project (J Hunt, K Galt, R Brydon); Categorisation and annotation of historical Salmon and Trout scales collection for use as teaching materials for the SFCC (R Campbell); Windfarm consultation responses (R Campbell).
Education: Bang Goes The Borders – science day for children in Melrose (J Hunt, B Wright); Electro-fishing demonstration on the Leader Water for Earlston High School Higher Biology students (K Galt).
Meetings & Visits: River Tweed Commission quarterly meeting in Kelso (R Campbell, J Hunt); Presentations to a visit from the Board Partnership of the River Alta, Norway (R Campbell, J Hunt, K Galt).
