Ronald now works part-time for The Foundation enabling him to undertake other areas of fisheries research, which is a passion.
The Irish leg of the tour includes this public date at the University of Cork, with Ronald undertaking other lectures around the country in coming months. If you’d like to catch the Borders date, Ronald will be giving his lecture at The Tweed Foundation‘s office on Monday, 3rd December 2018 at 19.00 Hrs. All welcome.
The Buckland Foundation is based at the Scottish Fisheries Museum in Anstruther. Frank Buckland was a Victorian naturalist who was amongst the first to realise that making the most of the resources of the sea required a comprehensive understanding of the biology of the main commercial species and of the world they inhabited.
